Best Ways to Protect Yourself and Others During this Time

Following the holiday season, everybody wants to get back on track and take better care of themselves. Everyone has many things going on in their lives and getting sick hinders one’s ability to do what one may need to do. Two years into this COVID pandemic, we know we need to wash our hands often, cover our coughs, and wear a mask. For the past two years, we have constantly been hearing these recommendations.

How else can you protect yourself and others?

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Take care of both by spending quality time with friends outside. Being outside allows you to spread out and limit yourself from spreading or catching germs. Increasing ventilation by opening windows or being outdoors is beneficial for your mental and physical health. Fresh air makes everybody feel good!

Highly touched surfaces need to be cleaned regularly. Avoid sharing food and drinks with others, even family members. Be on the alert for how you are feeling. Please pay attention to your body and what it is telling you. During this time, people tend to overwork themselves. Take care of yourself by getting plenty of rest, drinking water, and sticking to a healthy diet. Stay home if you wake up with a headache or a bad cough.
