Community Giving

At First Care, we are relentless about transforming the delivery of healthcare through outstanding customer service, convenience, and affordability. We are devoted to doing the right thing. We go to great lengths to ensure superior clinical quality and build trusting relationships with our employees, our patients, and our partners.

We believe in being a valued and integrated member of every community we belong to. Through hiring local medical professionals, developing local real estate, and financially supporting local schools and organizations, First Care is more than just a medical facility – we are a resource to the community.

What is our community giving program?

First Care is committed to helping our communities grow and prosper. Each quarter, the First Care Community Giving will assist numerous local nonprofit organizations working to make the communities we share better places to live and work.

What types of organizations do we support?

While there are countless opportunities to give back to our community, we’re particularly passionate about youth, education, and helping the homeless and hungry. For this reason, we focus our support on a few key areas:

  • Children’s Health and Wellbeing
  • Domestic Violence Aid
  • Grassroots Community Program
  • Homeless Assistance
  • Hunger Relief
  • K-12 Education (excluding athletic team/event sponsorships)
  • Local Disaster Relief

Sports Physical Giveback Program

First Care wants to have a hand in creating victories within our communities, and our Sports Physical Giveback Program does just that.

First Care rewards schools across the area with a $5 donation for every sports physical completed at each clinic. While some insurance companies cover annual sports physicals, First Care also provides sports physicals for only $25 for patients who wish to pay cash.

Benefiting athletes, parents, and schools, our Sports Physical Giveback is a win-win for everyone involved.

Beyond Our Communities

At First Care, our giving goes beyond our communities. 2017 saw major destruction caused by two devastating hurricanes: Harvey and Irma. We could only imagine the pain that the thousands of people who were displaced were feeling, as well as the grief of the families who lost loved ones. So, we started relief funds for the communities that were affected by these disasters. In September of 2017, we donated $2 from every patient visit to those relief funds.
