What is the First Care Community Fund?
First Care is committed to helping our communities grow and prosper. Each quarter, the First Care Community Fund will assist numerous local nonprofit organizations working to make the communities we share better places to live and work.
Who does the First Care Community Fund support?
While there are countless opportunities to give back to our community, we’re particularly passionate about youth, education, and helping the homeless and hungry. For this reason, we focus our support to a few key areas:
- Programs that do not align with these areas, but are also geared toward strengthening our local communities, may also be given consideration.Children’s Health and Wellbeing
- Domestic Violence Aid
- Grassroots Community Program
- Homeless Assistance
- Hunger Relief
- K-12 Education (excluding athletic team/event sponsorships)
- Local Disaster Relief
How is an organization or cause selected?
At the end of each quarter (March, June, September, and December), the local staff at each clinic will vote on which organization or cause they would like the First Care Community Fund to be given to in their community.
